Every few weeks Joe and I travel to the center of the city to meet with Pastor Eliud. This pastor serves on our Advisory Board for our Enfoque Mexico ministry in Mexico City, and is an amazing friend. Every time we meet with him he constantly amazes us by opening more doors to groups of pastors, churches, and students he is connected with in Mexico City.
A few blocks from Eliud's church is a small hole in the wall restaurant where Pepe and his wife serve up a fantastic breakfast with fresh orange juice. If you want tacos instead of scrambled eggs, Pepe serves them up out of the trunk of his car. On Friday my friends from New Orleans went with us to meet with Eliud. Everyone except for Lisa bravely dove into the culture and ordered tacos from the back of Pepe's car.
